So, it seems that last night’s post did not publish, sorry about that, but I think it’s up now. Maybe anxiety or fatigue fumbled my fingers, maybe?
Jorden continues to do really well. Most of the tubes are out and the doctor said she can move to a regular room when one becomes available.
Pain and nausea continues to be challenging, the doctors continue to say she is neurologically perfect. Yeah!!
Jorden is out of recovery and into ICU. And I’m beginning to breath easier. Thanks for everyone’s prayers..
Dr Kim everything went perfectly.
Jorden got the call! She is the second surgery of the day for Dr Kim. She needs to be at the hospital at 11am and the surgery is scheduled to start at 1pm.
Today Jorden finished all of her pre-op paperwork and had blood drawn. Tomorrow at 5PM she meets with Dr. Kim for the final time.
We made it to Texas this afternoon. We decided interstate 10 might be the oldest and roughest we have ever driven on. Surprisingly the traffic was really heavy and slow, worse than in Florida.
After only 3 “recalculating route” warnings from the GPS we found the house James and Jorden rented.
As it was about 4pm we decided to get some food at Costco and James was going to make us dinner. To our utter amazement the parking lot at Costco was packed so full we found a Mexican restaurant had dinner instead.
Tomorrow Jorden meets with the anesthesiologist and has some blood work done. Then we will try Costco again.
Just a quick update: we made it to Gulfport. Over 700 miles today, only 425 tomorrow. Lots of traffic and lots of construction.
Saturday our next adventure begins. We will be leaving Florida heading to Houston, TX.
We are excited to meet up with James and Jorden and support them any way we can.
Jorden is scheduled for brain surgery on March 2nd at Hermann Memorial Hospital. If interested to learn more you can watch this video.
An this is Jorden! Isn’t she beautiful!!
